FOR THE VILLAGE OF NEWARK VALLEY, NEW YORK
Pursuant to the provisions of section 15-104 of the Election Law, the following notice of the village election for the Village of Newark Valley, New York is given:
1. The polling place for the election district of the Village of Newark Valley shall be in the Noble Room of the Municipal Building, Newark Valley, NY.
2. The polls shall be open from 12:00 noon to 9:00 on Tuesday, March 15, 2016.
3. The names and addresses of the candidates nominated, the offices and terms for which they have been nominated are as follows:
Democrat
Patricia Flint-Beck 2 Ward Lane, Newark Valley, NY Trustee – 2-year term

Village Tax Collection
February 24th, 2016Village of Newark Valley Tax Collection for 2016
I have received the tax roll and warrant for the collection of taxes for the year starting March 1, 2016. I will collect these taxes at the Village Office in the Municipal Building in said Village. No penalty will be charged on these taxes from March 1 through April 1. After April 1, 2016, five percent will be added and one percent each month thereafter until the return of unpaid taxes made by the collector to the County Treasurer pursuant to law.
Collection hours are as follows: Monday – Thursday 9AM to 5PM and Friday 9AM to Noon
