Yard Debris Collection
March 24th, 2022Mark your calendars!! Brush and leaves collection will be resuming Tuesday April 5th🌲🍂🌳🍁🌿🍃For those that are new to the Village or need a refresher:
- ✴️Branches need to be cut to lengths of 4ft or less and bundled.
- ✴️Bundles must weigh less than 50# if they are to heavy they will be left for you to break down and re-bundle for the following week.
- ✴️Leaves/grass clippings/potting material need to be placed in either brown paper bags, in containers/cans that are able to be dumped or placed on a tarp.
- ✴️Please have all your yard debris to the curb by 6am Tuesday mornings, we start early to avoid school traffic.
- 🚫ABSOLUTELY NO PLASTIC BAGS, we do not collect plastic flower pots either, dump potting debris into the bags/containers you are using.
- 🚫NO BRICKS, LARGE AMOUNTS OF DIRT OR BUILDING MATERIALS.
- 🚫NO FULL TREES – If you have an entire tree taken down it is up to the person/company that you hired to remove said tree from your property.💢💢Any questions regarding the weekly yard debris collection, contact the DPW at 607-642-8700💢💢
