Village Paving July 2015
July 16th, 2015The Village of Newark Valley will be paving Watson, Central and Franklin Ave on Wednesday July 22nd with a rain date of Thursday July 23, this will make for a temporary transportation problem. Department of Public Works will be starting around 7 AM and will be paving the whole road with one pass – this mean the road they are working on will be CLOSED to ALL traffic and cannot be driven on for 1 hour after they complete the road. It is believed the whole process for each road will take a total of 3 hours each after which traffic can start. If you need to travel that day please plan to park on Elm or Whig while we work on the roads. We apologize for the huge inconvenience in advance but believe the end result will be worth it.
