Water Distribution System Work Begins – Elm and Lawrence
August 4th, 2010The contractors will begin work on the water distribution system on Elm Street and Lawrence Avenue starting as early as today. This appears to be their starting point. They will begin hooking up service lines to the existing 10″ pipe. At some point, it will be necessary to temporarily shut off your water. If there is a leak in your service line, you will be notified.
If your water is discolored after the water is turned on, open a water tap and let the water run until it is clear. Do not wash clothes while the water is turbid.
