N.T.Y.L. Cheerleaders Cleaned House
November 6th, 2007“WE DID GREAT”
This passed weekend (11/3/07) Newark Valley N.T.Y.L.Cheerleaders Cleaned house with some excellent moves at the Waverly Competition. With 9 other schools competing Newark Valley girls took home an award in every event. The girls range from grades K – 2 for lower, 3 – 5 for middle, 6 -7 for upper and 7 -8 for modified. In the Crowd cheer our lower girls took 4th the middle girls took 2nd and the Modified took 1st. In the show cheer NV middle took 1st, and the modified took 2nd. In the Cheer/Dance division our Lower and Middle took 3rd and our modified took 4th. In the optional contest, Jump off we had 1 lower Taylor Kalpokas and 2 modified Kristal Stevens & Kerra Matolka finish in the top 5.
