2016 Group Work Camp

Whig Street – Information Meeting – Sept 1st
August 24th, 2015Dear Resident:
As many of you are aware, the Village of Newark Valley received funding through NYSDOT’s Transportation Alternatives Program (TAP). This is a reimbursement program that will cover 80% of the proposed project.
The proposed project is to repair and/or replace sidewalk on Whig Street along only the West Side at this time.
A public information meeting is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:00PM on Tuesday, September 1st in the Noble Room at the Municipal Building. This meeting will be run by the project’s engineering firm, Delta Engineers, with a NYSDOT representative in attendance. An open house format will be used wherein attendees can arrive anytime between 5:30 and 7 PM — this will encourage more input from attendees and allow more flexibility in attendee arrival time.
