Public Water Meetings
April 21st, 2008There is a series of three public meetings being held to discuss the projected water project for the Newark Valley Water System. They will be held on April 22th, 29th, and 30th at 6:30 PM in the Nathan T. Hall Cafeteria. Everyone on the system is encouraged to attend, as you will have a vote on this matter in the future.
Hydrant Flushing Notice
April 18th, 2008To all users of the Newark Valley Water System. We will be flushing the hydrants throughout the system on Monday April 21st and Tuesday April 22nd. If you notice the water is cloudy when you turn it on, let it run and it will clear up in a short time. If you have an outside faucet and use it to clean out the pipes, it will not get into your appliances. I apologize for the inconvenience but this is necessary to maintain the hydrants and the water system.
