October 14th, 2019REMINDER: October Brush and Leaves collection starts tomorrow! This will be one of the last collections of the year. Brush will be collected Tuesday October 15th and Leaves🍁🍂 Wednesday October 16. Please have everything to the curb by early morning and in orderly manageable piles.
Village of Newark Valley Comprehensive Plan Community Survey
September 24th, 2019REMINDER: There are only a few days left to complete the Village survey! Surveys will be accepted in office and online until close of business on Monday Sept. 30. Please take a few moments to give your opinions & concerns. Thank you to all those who have or plan to participate
WHAT IS THIS AND WHY SHOULD I COMPLETE IT?
The Village of Newark Valley is in the process of updating their Comprehensive Plan. A Comprehensive Plan is a document that describes the history, current state and future vision of a community. It will guide future growth and development, while promoting a healthy, safe place for Village residents.
WHO SHOULD COMPLETE THIS SURVEY?
The Comprehensive Plan should reflect the ideas and the opinions of the community’s residents. Every Village resident and/or property owner is invited to complete this survey. Owners of rental properties and tenants are also encouraged to complete the survey.
WHEN SHOULD YOU SUBMIT THE SURVEY?
Please submit your survey as soon as it is completed. Estimated time to complete the survey is 10-15 minutes.
