MAKING ENERGY IMPROVEMENTS MORE AFFORDABLE

July 1st, 2014

What-is-PACE

nrel fact sheet

Greetings:

You are cordially invited to an information session on Thursday, July 17th regarding Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE). Joseph del Sindaco from the Energy Improvement Corporation will explain this program and how it can help local municipalities, businesses, and financial institutions make energy improvements more economical.

The session will take place from 1:00-3:00 PM on the 18th floor of the Binghamton State Office Building, 44 Hawley Street, Binghamton. We’re hoping you can attend and ask that you extend this invitation to anyone else who may be interested in this initiative.

Please RSVP to this free event by Friday, July 15 to Jeff Quain, quainj@assembly.state.ny.us or 607-723-9047.

This event is hosted by Assemblywoman Donna Lupardo, in conjunction with the Binghamton Regional Sustainability Coalition, and co-sponsored by Cornell Cooperative Extension of Broome County and Southern Tier East Regional Planning Development Board. PACE provides long term, low interest loans for renewable and energy efficiency and conservation projects that can be paid back on tax bills and transferred to new owners when properties are sold. For more information, visit www.pacenow.org.

Welcome to the Village of Newark Valley!

We hope you find what you are searching for in this electronic view of our rural unique Village. Our one thousand fifty residents offer a sincere welcome to our friends and to those who are not familiar with the areas' rolling hills, vistas and other scenic attributes of New York's Southern Tier.

We are creating these digital pages of information so our citizens may seek information such as, Village Codes, Municipal Meeting days/dates and time; ask questions of your Municipal leaders and Staff via the e-mail format or just tell us "What is on your mind". Information must be easy to retrieve and we believe this user friendly format will be useful to everyone.

Our five members Board of Trustees welcome your insight and participation with the opportunities and obstacles in operating this community in the most fiscally responsible manner. We wish to improve infrastructure, tax base and attractions in our Village. With your comments and help - that will happen.

    MayorBest Regards
    James P. Tornatore
