There is a series of three public meetings being held to discuss the projected water project for the Newark Valley Water System. They will be held on April 22th, 29th, and 30th at 6:30 PM in the Nathan T. Hall Cafeteria. Everyone on the system is encouraged to attend, as you will have a vote on this matter in the future.

To all users of the Newark Valley Water System. We will be flushing the hydrants throughout the system on Monday April 21^st and Tuesday April 22nd. If you notice the water is cloudy when you turn it on, let it run and it will clear up in a short time. If you have an outside faucet and use it to clean out the pipes, it will not get into your appliances. I apologize for the inconvenience but this is necessary to maintain the hydrants and the water system.

Yard Sale Days  May 10th

Cleanup days        May 1^st  – 3^rdMay 1^st is Senior Citizen’s day. Please call DPW at 642-8700. You must be at least 65 years of age, and you must call before April 28^th.   May 2^nd  & 3^rd, you can bring things to be disposed of to the Town Barn between the hours of 7:00 AM and 3:00 PM.
