May 6th, 2010The Village Water Department will be out reading meters on Saturday, May 8th.
If a door tag is left in your absence, please contact the Department of Public Works at 642-8700 to schedule an appointment to read your meter.

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a Public Hearing will be held on May 11, 2010 at 7:00 PM in the Noble Room at the Municipal Building, 9 Park Street, Newark Valley, NY, for the purpose of enacting Local Law 01-2010 for Absentee Landlords.

Water Meter Reading Schedule
April 23rd, 2010Water meters will be read by the Village Department of Public Works for the June water billing. They will be reading them during business hours during the week, and also on Saturday, April 24th. If you are not at home, you will receive a door hanger to call to schedule an appointment for the reading.
Electronic meters will be read on Monday, April 26th for this billing period. Following is the schedule for future electronic meter reading:
August 16th, November 16th, February 16th and May 16th*
*If the 16th falls on a Saturday, the reading will be done on Friday, and if it falls on a Sunday, it will be done on Monday.
