April 27th, 2026Town of Newark Valley Annual Spring Clean-Up Days!
April 30th-May 2, 2026.
April 30th (Thursday) : 65 & older and disabled residents for curbside pickup. Call the Highway Department at 642-9927 for details.
May 1 and 2 (Friday & Saturday) Residents may bring items to dumpsters at the Town Hall, 109 Whig Street. The dumpsters are located at the back of the property. Details are available by calling the Highway Department at 642-9927.

Brush Pick-up Starting Tuesday 4/7/26
April 6th, 2026Brush pick-up will begin tomorrow, Tuesday April 7, 2026. We ask that you bag your leaves in bio-degradable bags, or leave them on tarps to be dumped. Please place them on the edge of your lawns before 6:00 AM, not in the ditches, and the village crews will pick them up. No plastic bags of any type are to be used. Brush is to be no larger than 6″ in diameter and no longer than 4′ in length. Happy spring everyone!
